Just like the cost of a house or car can vary massively, the price of a website can vary depending on various factors and your requirements. We don’t usually talk numbers till we know the details however our website projects generally start in the $3,500 range for basic business sites, they can range upward or downward depending on your unique needs.

The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site, and the quality of content that you have ready to go. A basic website typically takes around 4–5 weeks from beginning to end, while a more complicated site might take 12 weeks or more.

Yes, but we can help you get this set up, and we will work with your existing provider. Please note, however, that we are not a web-hosting company.

Yes. All of our websites work on all devices. We develop your site using responsive design, so that the site is optimised for all mobile devices.

We sure do! We specialise in WooCommerce (from WordPress) and Shopify.

A Content Management System (CMS) is a tool that allows you to maintain your website’s pages yourself, without needing to have any technical skills. A CMS allows you to edit and add pages, images, products or blog entries to your website. No additional software is required – all you need is a web browser and an internet connection.

Yes, we give our clients training so they can maintain their websites themselves. We do also offer aftercare packages, however, if you aren’t keen to manage your site yourself.

We can! As part of your project, we can include social media and SEM services. If we don’t provide the specific service you require then we can introduce you to some of our trusted friends that do.

Search Engine Optimisation is all about getting your website as “optimised”, or ready, for search engines to easily find, and read. The higher up you are in search results on search engines such as Google, the more traffic (and customers) you’re likely to get. We understand SEO best practices and will implement them on your site. Many aspects go into achieving good SEO, and one of the most important factors is having great copy (words) on your website. You want to focus on well-written, keyword-rich and appropriate content.

yep we can help with that too! While we won’t write your content ourselves, we can put you in contact with a copywriter who specialises in writing for the web.

We focus on what we’re good at, which is designing and building websites. However, if you need someone to create your logo for you, we have great relationships with several graphic designers who specialise in logos and branding.

A domain name is your address on the internet. Typically this would be something like yourcompany.com.

WordPress is an open-source content management software that currently powers around 25% of all websites on the Internet. Tens of thousands of developers all over the world contribute to WordPress, which is part of the reason why it is growing from strength to strength. WordPress observes web development best practices and allows us to develop flexible and customisable websites to modern standards. On top of that, the community of web developers that uses WordPress reaches far and wide and allows us to tap into its collective intelligence, bring a wealth of experience to your project.

An interactive wireframe is a simplified version of your website designed to showcase its functionality and features as they will work in a browser. No design elements are applied at this stage as the prototype is just built to allow everyone involved in the build to make final decisions on the functionality.

Your website needs to be hosted by a hosting company that specialises in WordPress hosting. While many companies offer this service, Siteground is our preferred hosting provider. We are more than happy to make another personal recommendation, should you require one.

Provided you subscribe to one of our ongoing website care plans, we will be your first point of call should something go wrong with your website. We will determine whether it is something the hosting company needs to fix or something that is covered by your website care plan. We will provide training and video tutorials to assist you in using your website once it goes live.

Once your website is live, we will provide 30 days of support to make sure bugs have been ironed out and that you are confident using your new site. After this, you will need to subscribe to one of our ongoing website care plans to make sure your website is looked after and maintained. These website care plans include updating your software, regular backups, security checks, and making sure your website is online and open for business 24/7/365. More information on our website care plans is available HERE

The time it takes for your website to appear on page 1 of Google depends on several factors. It depends on the search phrase people are using to find your website and the number of other websites that are also available for those search phrases. Nobody can honestly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of search engine results pages (not even people who actually work for Google!). However, several factors can improve your chances. Building your website on WordPress is a good start as WordPress has some great Search Engine Optimisation fundamentals built-in. Regularly creating unique and interesting content for your website is also critical to increase your visibility among search engines. Launching your website and then forgetting about it is a surefire way to get lost in the noise. We are happy to talk to more about your search engine strategy if we haven’t already.

We will install Google Analytics software on your new website and show you how to log into your Google Analytics account. Here you can see a wide range of statistics about your website, including the number of visits, page views, and the amount of time people are spending on your website. Once you subscribe to one of our website care plans, you will also receive a more detailed analysis of your website’s performance and recommendations on how to improve it.

While we like to be flexible and responsive to your needs, we also want to deliver what we promise within the time frames and budgets to which we have agreed. If your new feature is something you would like to add to your website, but it isn’t directly tied to your original objectives, then we will probably suggest that you schedule it for a second iteration of the website. This will require a new proposal.
